Cecilia was great to work with on the lead up to the event and really grasped who we are as a company, the purpose of the talk and the outcome we were looking for. Cecilia met with us multiple times and liaised with us in great detail about the content to make sure we were happy with it. She delivered a fantastic talk covering the theme of reclaiming narratives with focus on respectful curiosity and 'ecosystem rather than community'. The talk was not only thought provoking and topical, but also received overwhelmingly positive feedback from colleagues. Cecilia effortlessly normalised the celebration of Black History Month in the UK in the talk. We would highly recommend her approachable and informative delivery and would definitely work with Cecilia again for future events.

“An extremely engaging and thought-provoking session. Cecilia delivered a well-paced and informative session which gave us concrete tools to help better our understanding of others experience and focus on the importance of inclusion. The course provides a non judgemental approach aimed to increase understanding of how unconscious bias can operate within the workplace”.

“We engaged Cecilia to run an unconscious bias workshop for managers and from the outset her approach was very flexible and thorough, tailoring the training to our needs and ensuring we were happy with the content. The session itself was well run and prompted some really good input and conversations. Cecilia is an engaging presenter and we’ve already had positive feedback from attendees who felt that they got a lot out of the workshop. I would recommend Cecilia for delivering this type of training and we are already planning a further session”.

The Women of Walkers network recently hosted a series of personal branding workshops with Cecilia Harvey from Cultural Nexus. The sessions were thought provoking, offering deep insights into the nuances of personal branding. The content was both interesting and engaging and what stood out most was Cecilia's deep understanding and encapsulation of Walkers' values and culture. She seamlessly integrated these principles into the training, ensuring that the strategies and insights were aligned with our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

“ We needed more than standard D&I training, but a session that allowed our company, and our staff, to truly engage with the subject matter. Cecilia was insightful, patient and supportive of us. The whole team felt empowered by her session, and a week later are still talking about the subject. It's been great!”

“Cecilia delivered a clear and compelling presentation about ED&I to the British Red Cross Community Education and Product Team. Having a knowledgeable professional to deliver the presentation, allowed colleagues of the BRC to look at ED&I in a different perspective, allowing us to have the confidence to speak more openly, thus, shifting the workplace culture surrounding ED&I."

“Through working closely with Cecilia over the last six months, she helped put us on the path when evaluating and refocusing our ED&I policy and strategy. She took her time to get to know our business, meet with Senior leaders and provided strategic advice about how we could embed the changes in our business. Cecilia worked in partnership with us on key documents and has been a very useful sounding board when discussing plans. We feel better equipped, after working with Cecilia, to move on with the next stage of the initiative .”

Cecilia is an excellent coach, trainer and presenter and has been instrumental in the success of a significant project with a large multinational in the electronics sector. She has led the delivery of an inclusive leadership and cultural intelligence course for a group of 20 senior leaders and will be leading its roll out the rest of the leadership team. One of the leaders commented that they, ‘Loved Cecilia’s authenticity as a facilitator as well as her deep expertise.’
Cecilia’s calm and open approach encouraged all participants to engage with the difficult conversations. She challenged them to think deeply about the topic and guided them to find practical outcomes to develop inclusion and cultural intelligence through the organization.
I have no hesitation in adding my recommendation to that of the large groups of learners Cecilia has worked with for us.

"Participants felt the session was clear and comprehensive with frequent interaction, stimulating reasoning and engagement. Cecilia' s workshop was very interesting, and the delivery on this important and delicate topic very well done."
Jann Oliver, Rota Coordinator, Supervising Volunteer
The Listening Place
"I found Cecilia’s session very engaging and full of thoughtful, sound, logical guidance. It was really helpful to think about what it feels like to be excluded in all avenues of life; of the trauma and the consequences of not feeling involved and of not experiencing part of the action.
I particularly liked the advice about including everyone when organising events and activities for particular groups. For example, involving men in women’s events and people of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds in events for black and minority ethnic people. This has really helped me think about doing this in areas of my personal life.
The session was well-paced and well-structured and I feel can only enhance the ongoing work around inclusion and diversity at TLP."

Brightly
Cecilia ran an engaging and interactive session which led us to determine our own personal brand, through reflection and working in small groups. The session allowed us to focus on the attributes of what a successful brand is, what that means to us, then switch it around and apply it to our own brand. I got great feedback from our clients who attended the event and was hearthened by the interaction and willingness to share from everyone in the group. It led to a lot of talking points post the event and I personally have been reflecting on my brand ever since – a great session with a lasting impact.
Cecilia was able to foster trust and a safe space to share.
